  How To Choose an Affiliate Marketing Course

  For our first post, I thought I'd write about a topic that tons of people ask me about: affiliate marketing courses.

  These are a popular and important step of the learning process, not the least of which because whether or not you choose to follow an affiliate marketing program, and which course you go with, will determine much of your philosophy for building your site and have a huge impact on your sucess or failure.

  Should You Purchase a Course?

  The first question that comes up is whether or not you should purchase a course or simply teach yourself. After all, most of the information that you need (probably all of the information you need, actually) is freely available via a plethora of blogs, if you're willing to dig around a bit.

  The problem is, when you're first starting out you don't know what questions to ask, which means that you often wouldnt be able to find the material you need on your own, or you'd wind up spending a lot of time searching for information.

  The other problem is that you don't know whether or not the information you're getting is accurate, and since there are tons of different ways to succeed, you might find conflicting opinions confusing, and not realize they might both be valid points, when applied to different processes.

  That means that in general, yes, I would recommend you purchase a course. It might be a difficult decision up front, but it will save you a ton of headache down the road.

  Affilorama vs. Wealthy Affiliate

  Two great options that are available for you to choose from are Affilorama and Wealthy Affiliate.

  These are two of the industry leaders, and both come highly recommended from their students. They also both have very well thought out tie-ins to the health industry. Wealthy Affiliate, for example, uses a "lose belly fat" website as a consistent example for choosing specific, low competition keywords within a very competitive industry.
